Maryland Coast Day--Volunteers Needed!

Volunteers are needed at Maryland Coast Day on September 18, 2010 to help run the LESSON exhibit!

Maryland Coast Day is 11 AM to 4 PM at Assateague Island State Park. The event typically draws 3,000+ people from the region and is a great opportunity for public outreach.  If you can assist, please click on 'go to form' below.

If you have any thoughts for a kids’ activity, please share. Maryland Coast Day is a family-oriented day and having a kids’ activity draws people to exhibits. Ideas include seasonal seed planting for kids (e.g., radishes) that they can grow at home and opportunities for people to tell us what they'd like to see in their communities.  We will be accepting donations, and we can also sell items and/or hold a raffle (a 'Mater Mania Poster?).
