In December 2006 SoBo’s Wine Bistro, the third of John and Tom Knorr’s restaurants opened to rave reviews. SoBo’s is smaller concept restaurant for the Knorrs, with the focus being on great food and wine with a bit of an upscale flare. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the atmosphere is warm and intimate.

Featuring a progressive wine list with 100 New World wines makes it easy and fun to select something that will please anyone, from the novice to the most experienced pallet. A 20 for $20 list offers wines at a great value and encourages experimentation. At SoBo’s we believe that wine is made for drinking and have selected wines and priced them in such a way that encourages guests to do just that.

Brian Julian and Kathy Berezoski have owned & operated The Watermen's Inn in Crisfield, Maryland since the summer of 1988. Both have Associate Degree(s) in Culinary Arts from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. Kathy has an additional Associate Degree in Pastry Arts and a Bachelor's Degree in Food Service Management. After graduating in the early 1980's, Brian and Kathy have each had several experiences along the eastern seaboard before returning to Kathy's home on the Eastern Shore.

Located in historic downtown Snow Hill, Maryland- "the palette" celebrates contemporary cuisine with local tradition. They have private dining, live entertainment and specialty nights such as tapas and wine tastings. They deal directly with local watermen and farmers, and use mostly organic and locally raised produce for their entrees. Ask about their catering!!

The place for local*vores, we use local produce and food products in our healthy mainly vegetarian fare.Our small batch gelati and sorbet are entirely natural and off the charts tasty, with flavors like Chocolate truffle, fresh garden mint, pink grapefruit, lemon curd, ginger and amaretto. We make tasty soups, quiche and zippy salads, along with our signature melts and bowlies.

As artists, John and Dana want the presentation of the food to be as lovely as it's taste- so there is always an extra attention, garnish, and fresh fruit along with great tunes, and a nice parade of devoted diners in the colorful, spacious riverfront cafe. Chesapeake East full of local art, craft and handmade soaps and jewelry and PIY; paint it yourself ceramics are our sister-shops.

Our summer hours are Tues-Friday 11am-5pm, serving dinner on Thursdays. Come September, we'll be open Mon-Sat, 10-5, Thursday dinner.
